2008 Millésime Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs, Pertois-Moriset
I have never tasted anything from this producer but being from the great vintage of 08 and a Blanc de Blancs, what could go wrong?
Apparently nothing. The nose is a young, fresh and creamy with notes of lime leaves, ginger, dried butter cookies and white flowers. A luscious, deep nose with lots of minerals and chrushed oyster shells. A fine dried up sweetness to the fruit. Really fine.
The taste is young and tight with fine notes of pickled ginger, lime cream, minerals and dried flowers. A long, distinct finish with a cleansing acidity. This is good!
